Children and Youth

ECR is a great place to raise children and youth in the faith, and it’s a great place to BE a kid! Our children’s offerings help us to teach the story of Christ’s love for all, but they also help build a Christian Community.

Camp Bratton Green

Since 1947, Camp Bratton-Green has provided a Christian summer camp ministry supported by the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi. Our goal at Camp Bratton-Green is to have a safe, fun, and inspirational overnight summer camp environment for all campers and staff members. At Camp Bratton-Green, campers engage in weekly sessions that include worship, small group discussions, games, team building and skits that are all centered around a Christian theme. There are summer sessions available for kids 6-16, and a winter session (called Winter Solstice) which is available for Sr. High campers. We also have two, wonderful summer sessions for special needs adults.

Our camp uses a volunteer staffing model, so that means that you can be a part of our camp community at any age. Visit the Gray Center website to learn more!

Diocesan Youth Offerings

We have a wonderful offering of diocesan youth events in addition to the regular programming at our summer camp. Please visit our diocesan youth website to learn more about: Happening, DOY, Convocation Events, Youth Council, and more!
